Prefabricated Branch Cable with Plastic Insulation
Product Overview
Pre-branch cable is a complete and continuous set of cables prefabricated in the factory. The conductors of the main cable and the branch cable are connected through compressing copper or copper alloy pipes at the specified parts of the main cable according to relative requirements, and complete insulation treatment are carried out. To ensure the electricity safety at the cable joint of embranchment, the upper end of the cable shall be equipped with a suitable lifting device when it is vertically laid; There are options of the traction component, when the cable is laid horizontally.
Scope of Application
Prefabricated branch cables can be widely used in power distribution systems for residences, office buildings, hotels, hospitals, shopping malls and factories.
Standards Implemented
This product complies with JG/T 147-2002 Copper Core Plastic Insulated Prefabricated Branch Power Cable with Rated Voltage of 0.6/1kV and JB/T 10636-2006 Copper Core Plastic Insulated Prefabricated Branch Power Cable with Rated Power of 0.6/1kV (Um=1.2KV).
Usage Characteristics
1. Maximum working temperature of conductor: XLPE insulation, 90℃; PVC insulation, 70℃.
2. The highest working temperature of cable conductor in case of short circuit (the longest duration does not exceed 5s): XLPE insulation, not more than 250℃; PVC insulation, not more than 160℃.
3. The ambient temperature during cable laying shall not exceed 0℃.
4. The rated voltage of cable U0/U (Um) is 0.6/1 (1.2) kV.
U0: the rated power frequency voltage between conductor and ground or metal shield for cable design;
U: the rated power frequency voltage between conductors for cable design;
Um: the maximum value of the "highest system voltage" that the equipment can withstand.
5. The allowable bending radius shall not exceed 30 times of the outer diameter of the cable;
Test Voltage
The water test voltage of cable is 3.5kV, and the insulation shall not break down in 5min.
